This beautiful yarn is made from a combination of 100% Gotland wool and 100% Dorset Down wool. They have been spun together at the Natural Fibre Company in Cornwall - the Dorset Down helps to bind the sometimes slippery Gotland wool together. Each hank is 100g, and this one is 4py spun as 2/6nm and 12 ysw. Perfect for a hat or small scarf, or buy more than one and make something more substantial! Always warm, I find it knits well with needles 3.5-4.5mm and is equivalent to a DK yarn size. Undyed - the colour is completely natural from our silvery grey Gotlands and soft white Dorset Downs. However, I have also found that the wool takes dye very well if you would like to try it.
