This fleece is from Bear, a young 100% Teeswater ewe  - she is only two year's old. Her fleece is wonderfully creamy and soft - and pulls apart very easily. Staple 14cm, weight 2.1kg. 
She was sheared by Henry, our Farm Manager, who shears every ewe as carefully as possible to avoid second cuts. Bear did not have a lamb this year, so she has had a lovely time outside and the fleece is rain washed. There is very little vm, though there is a bit of muck around the edges that should come out easily with washing. 
 
Please note, raw fleeces come straight from the sheep's back and are lightly skirted. Unwashed fleeces should not be handled by pregnant women.
