This fleece is from Blaze, a young 100% Teeswater ewe  - she is only two year's old. Her fleece is an excellent example of the very rare Teeswater fleece - creamy and soft with an amazing curl. It pulls apart very easily.
 
Staple 17cm, weight 2kg. 
She was sheared by Henry, our Farm Manager, who shears every ewe as carefully as possible to avoid second cuts. Blaze did not have a lamb this year, so she has had a lovely time outside and the fleece is rain washed. There is very little vm. 
 
Please note, raw fleeces come straight from the sheep's back and are lightly skirted. Unwashed fleeces should not be handled by pregnant women.
