This fleece is from Ella, a 100% Teeswater ewe. Her fleece is classic teeswater with a 15cm staple. It is still holding together and some of the staples can be teazed out - but it will take some work. Weight 2kg. 
She was sheared by Henry, our Farm Manager, who shears every ewe as carefully as possible to avoid second cuts. Ella did not have a lamb this year, so she has had a lovely time outside and the fleece is rain washed. There is very little vm. 
 
Please note, raw fleeces come straight from the sheep's back and are lightly skirted. Unwashed fleeces should not be handled by pregnant women.
